ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determined the mortality rate and revival rate of mosquitoes when treated with 100%-0%, 75%-25%, 50%-50%, 25%-75%, 0%-100% Chile pepper extract-water concentration. The independent variables in the study are the different concentrations and the dependent variables in the study are the mortality rates and revival rates of mosquitoes treated with the different concentrations. The general procedure of this study includes mosquito culture, preparation of set up, undergoing treatment and data gathering.
The results of this study showed that the higher the concentrations of chile pepper in the solution, the higher is the mortality rate of the mosquitoes. The higher the concentration of chile pepper in the solution, the lower is the revival rate of mosquitos.
