ABSTRACT

The site, the PSHS Research Station was chosen because of its direct significance to the school. The study aimed to analyze both the vegetation and soil of the said site, which could lead to the full utilization of the soil. The site was divided into six (6) quadrants, with every quadrant having five (5) replicates. Soil analysis tested for pH, %moisture, %humus, calcium and phosphorus. Vegetation analysis, on the other hand, involved relative density and basal area & diameter. Results show that the soil had certain physicochemical characteristics and that it also contains phosphorus, calcium and organic matter. Further studies are recommended.
