ABSTRACT

This research paper is a taxonimic account of the macrobenthic algae species found in Tiniguiban ( Pulang-Pasayan ), Pandaraonan, Nueva Valencia, Guimaras. The gathered seaweeds were preserved, dried, pressed, and mounted.

Seven seaweed species were found, properly identified and classified: from Division Rhodophyta, Ampiroa frafilissima, Galaxaura oblongata, Gracilaria arcuata; and from Division Chlorophyta, Caulerpa serrulata, Halimeda simulans, Halimeda tuna, Ulva lactuca.
