ABSTRACT

This study aimed to determine the effect of different animal blood sera as fertilizer to Phaseolus aureus in terms of the length of germination and quality and quantity of mungbean seedlings. Mungbean seeds were grouped into fifteen and were planted into pots and allowed to grow. Serum was then applied. The mean and standard deviation was used as descriptive statistical tools. The One Way ANOVA and Duncan’s Multiple Range Test, set at .05 alpha level of significance was used, as inferential statistical tools. From the findings of the study, the conclusion was drawn: The pig blood sera was effective in terms of speeding up the germination time, and in increasing its stem lenght, leaf number and number of seedlings grown with the control while the cow blood
