ABSTRACT
This study aimed to determine and compare the effect of commercial feed, copra meal, horse manure, and lablab on the growth (weight in grams) of Chanos chanos fingerlings after 30 days of culture. Mean weights of Chanos chanos fingerlings were measured before and after 30 days of culture.
One-way ANOVA (0.05a) showed that there is a significant difference in the mean weight of fingerlings fed with different types of feeds. Commercial feed resulted to a highest gain in weight of the fingerlings compared to the other feed treatment. The mean weight gained by the fingerlings decreased in the order treatment Commercial feed > Lablab = Horse manure > Copra meal.
