ABSTRACT
There are tons of disposed garbage found everywhere which cost lots of problems in the environment which government and people lack ways to address. Topping the list of disposed garbage are Aluminum Cans, Paper and PET plastic bottle.
Thus, this study created a new method on disposing garbage. A web-based clearinghouse which matches garbage information to find possible trade of garbage is developed. This clearinghouse facilitates the traffic in the disposal of waste.
The website was made using HTML, the database was created using MySQL programming language and the computer program was made using PHP programming language, which accepts and match the garbage information and send the garbage information to the users via email and MySQL programming language which saves the information to the database and retrieves the information of the users to be send to the emails.
The clearinghouse was developed by creating a website where users post their garbage information in order to find a possible trade, a database where the information will be saved and a computer program that performs the functions of the website namely accepting the posted information, saving the information to the database, matching the garbage information and retrieving the matched information to be sent to the users via E-mail. The clearinghouse is hosted at Everyone Technologies.
The clearinghouse with its components working properly is posted online on the web and could be seen at www.everyone.ph/philsci. The clearinghouse could be used by all people who have garbage to buy or sell.
