ABSTRACT
This study determined whether or not neem (Azadirachta indica) extracts had an effect on sperm mortality. It was hypothesized that there was o significant difference between the 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% concentrations of neem extract spermicide on the mortality of sperm. Statistical tools employed in the study were the standard deviation and mean as descriptive statistical tools, and One-Way ANOVA and Scheffe test as inferential statistical tools.
Results showed that neem extracts had a significant effect on sperm mortality at 10% and 15% concentrations and that there was no significant difference between the effectiveness of the 10% and 15% concentrations of neem spermicide.
